Eminem is a household name in hip-hop. Some consider him the GOAT. And it all wouldn’t be without his landmark album, The Slim Shady LP, released on February 23, 1999. After his 1996 debut project, Infinite, performed abysmally, Slim Shady made his mark on the industry with this project featuring his fiery flow and brazen lyrics that made us all look at each other wide eyed like “Did he just say what I think he said?” The Slim Shady LP had solid commercial success, landing at No.2 on the Billboard 200 and is now certified four times platinum.
